I won't worry with an obligatory link--I'm sure you also get the reference here, even if it's already cycling out... 

An equivalent on the left, which can't happen because the left has no power, so, say, a Democratic equivalent (regarding --- what, exactly? -- progressive taxation?) would generate a shitstorm. 

But this will be gone in a day or two.

And I don't think it's just because the monster forever wants fresh product. 

That's part of it, but to turn to an oldie...IOKIYAR. Yeah, almost as old as me, but if it fits.
